Georgia is the owner and founder of Georgia Walker
& Associates, Inc., an agency for all equine related coverages. She has over
3 5 years of equine experience and studied
Animal Science and Industry research at Kansas State University. She has two daughters,Tracie
and Kellie. Tracie is currently working in the agency with Georgia and Kellie is
attending Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah,
Georgia. Prior to starting this
agency, she owned and operated Hill Country Veterinary Clinic in Austin,
Texas. Georgia is a member of the American Society
of Equine Appraisers , American Horse Council and Missouri Insurance Agents
Association. Her friendly persona and dedicated work ethic have made her a successful
and popular agent. She treats others the way she would like to be treated, both
personally as well as in her professional life.
About Tracie:
Since her childhood, growing up in Texas, Tracie has been involved with horses for most of her life. She began riding at a very young age and enjoyed barrel racing and weekend trail rides with her mother, Georgia.
Tracie has worked with Georgia off and on for over 10 years throughout high school and college. She graduated from Missouri Western State University in 2003 with a degree in Travel & Tourism and a minor in Business. She moved to Myrtle Beach in the spring of 2005 to pursue her career in the Hospitality Industry. After living on the East Coast for a couple years, she decided to move back to the Mid-West. She now lives in Overland Park, Kansas and has been working with Georgia Walker and Associates since August 2006.
About Kandice:
Kandice began working with horses from a very young age where she quickly developed a love and great passion for the animal. Growing up in Lewistown, OH she trained and showed her family’s Morgan horses in saddle seat, western pleasure and enjoyed some trail riding on the side. She just recently began schooling in dressage riding which she hopes to eventually take into her own training, showing and breeding program.
In 2007 Kandice graduated from Ohio Northern University with a degree in Business Administration. After graduation she moved to MO with her husband so he could pursue his Doctorate of Chiropractic. Upon moving to MO Kandice had the opportunity to work for an Equine Veterinary practice where she was able to further her knowledge and experience of horses. She began working for Georgia & Associates in May of 2008 and welcomes the opportunity to continue working with the Equine Industry and its wonderful clients.
